This pamphlet draws on articles published over a period of 40 years in the newspaper Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism! It provides a communist perspective on the political and historical background to the genocidal onslaught by the Israeli state. It shows how British support – with the unswerving complicity of the imperialist Labour Party – has been crucial to the survival of the Israeli state.
Finally, it argues that the best solidarity anti-imperialists and socialists in Britain can give to the Palestinian people is to build a working class movement on the streets that forces the British state to isolate the Zionist state through political, economic, diplomatic and cultural sanctions.
